Thinking about my achievements this year, I can narrow it down to 2 which is standing out big time.

1) Living healthier: When I discovered the SP people website in July I thought: "Yeah, alright..its not gonna work, but lets give it a try." Due to the encouragement and support of my SP friends, people responding to this blog and the SP 'Diabetes Management Program' with regular support I have lost 13 kilos so far. My happiest moments were: when I came off insulin injections; and the comments of a colleagues this week: " You have lost so much weight you look like a new person", and " Are you working out? I can see changes in your body structure." Needless to say that I was extremely flattered.

2) Completing the taught sessions of my MBA. I never thought I will get to this stage in my life when I enrolled. Now the most difficult part. Writing up and finishing my dissertation in coaching. but, I know I can do it!

I have learned from spark people that everything is possible, if you set yourself small manageable goals... it makes the victory so much sweeter. I hope that this blog entry will be a motivation to others. Joining the sp journey is possibly the best thing you can do.... it is not always gonna be easy...but you have the support of like-minded people. You can do it!!

Thanks to everyone for their support. You guys rock. I wish you all an early very merry Xmas!

Life is a journey... enjoy the ride!
