I am trying to allow me to be learning how to correct past mistakes also with this one... I know my lil girl is super active and I do not want to be the reason she slows down, because mom can't keep up... Thank you for the support and I look forward to chatting sometimes.
Hey there, thank you so much for the encouragement, it is much needed... i have about the same as you to lose and am trying to get motivated to actually stick to it this time. So I would love to have someone to talk or chat with that understands my current struggles. I will also be he to be your cheer-leading section while we both need that encouragement. I know exactly how you feel; I've been through most of what you're describing in the past few years. Some of them are positive changes, but, well, change is stressful. Just keep checking in, lean on one of us if you need to, and have someone in your "real" life have your back. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I'm just starting, too, and have 125 pounds to lose. It seems impossible. But I have to rewire that thinking and learn a new way to live and a new way to talk to myself. We can do it. If we can't do it for ourselves, then we have to do it for our young children. Let me know if I can help you in any way.

Congratulations for making the decision to be here!
I'm a mom of a kid entering grad school and a middle schooler. In some ways I'm a much better parent the second time around and in others - well, I miss being more active. That is part of my reason for coming here (again-oops!). My youngest is super active and I need to be healthier so I can keep up.

WELCOME TO SPARK!!! Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.
1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.
2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.
The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Hi there, My name is Nycky to all my friends MOBBWBEAUTY here... I am a 43 year old mother of 3... 2 are adults 25 and 21, and now a 3 year old... While all of these children are such a blessing I find that I have put my life on hold for so long that I didn't realize how much of a mess it had become. I am self employed, and currently a part time student looking to change my career... I have no family other than myself and my 2 youngest children living in the state I relocated to 11 years ago. I have been single for over 2 years, and a lot longer than that if you look at the relationship I was in, however... I am now trying to change my life for the better AGAIN... I started by taking a break from relationships, for these last 2 years, and have now also re-entered college, something that I have wanted to do for quite a few years. I am trying to be the best mom I can but I am constantly overwhelmed and sluggishly tired. I never seem to have any enerygy...I am a restaurant junkie and am trying to learn how to prepare healthier menus from home to save money and just get healthier quality meals in me and my kids... Mostly what I am searching for is some motivation, maybe a few new friends, and feeling like I am getting a little bit of me back... I hope to be an encouraging person for others in my situation (being a late in life 2nd mom)...I know I have got to get me together in so many ways but i could use some real motivation. Thanks
