I love my 13.1 walks, they have made a huge difference in me losing weight! I've joined an online running/walking club that does them every month

I finished! All 13.1 miles! Walk #2 was across 3 different beaches...8.33 miles! Then the last was today...1.13 miles around my neighborhood pond...I fed the ducks halfway through and ran the end!
It helps so much to have a goal or an event or just something to work toward!
I'm very proud of me!

I walked a bit more than a 5K in the dizzle with a lovely heat lightning show on the beach tonight :) Mileage chart said 3.86 miles. Beach walking is apparently slow for me, 33 minute miles?
I'm doing the Running Mad 2013 virtual half marathon (13.1) with a free club called Moms RUN This Town. I don't have to do it all at once, I guess I have several more beach walks in my future this month to finish! I'm going again tonight!
