You are a lucky woman! My family does not ridicule. They are fine with it, but they're not onboard. Oh, well. I'm a great example to me!

Glad he is as well. You are both setting a wonderful example for your children. If he does happen to fall off the wagon, make sure you stay on it yourself. It's great to have that level of support, but you have to keep in mind that you are doing this for yourself and that it is ultimately up to you.

That is great! My DH does support my efforts, but does not cook... what I would give to have someone else cook!

Me too emoticon ... This time around my husband offered to do it with me. Since we are both eating better my daughter has better choices in the house... it feels good to get the whole family on board.

That's wonderful to hear! The more support you have, the better!

I am so excited! My family jumped on board with me! My husband needs to lose weight and shape up also and he decided that if he "had to cook this stuff for me" he might as well eat it also. The three children are on board for more healthy eating also. :) Yeah! My husband said yesterday, you know by eating healthy and following the suggested menus I am not hungry. He was amazed that by eating the correct combination of foods in the right amounts his body was satified. I have lost 2 lbs. so far and I get on the scales later this week. Can't wait to see what the number is. This will be so much easier with the families support.
