Indeed, I_Heart_My_Fam. Indeed he was.
Another great song is "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley.
Here's MY favorite version, made a little more than 2 years ago...
(My son shares a birthday with him and they're both mixed!!! HOW COOL IS THAT!)

head on over to YouTube, KJ
the first Incubus song I fell in love with was Drive. Then it was Love Hurts. Then Dig. Now it's pretty much all of their music. Talk Shows on Mute is a great video!

I'm listening to an Incubus CD at work. They have some awesome songs (Drive, Warning, Love Hurts, Dig, and many more)

I've been listening to Sara Bareilles in the car. I love her voice, her writing, her music. She's quite the smarta$$. Her songs often sound really upbeat and cheery but if you listen to the lyrics you get the real meaning. King of Anything is one of my all time favorite songs. A good friend of mine and I will text the words to that one back and forth to each other

Keep drinkin' coffee
Stare me down across the table
While I look outside

So many things I'd say if only I were able
But I just keep quiet
And count the cars that pass by

You've got opinions, man
We're all entitled to 'em
But I never asked

So let me thank you for time
And try to not waste any more of mine
Get out of here fast

I hate to break it to you babe
But I'm not drowning
There's no one here to save

Who cares if you disagree
You are not me
Who made you king of anything
So you dare tell me who to be
Who died
And made you king of anything

Yes. It is Marvin Gaye. When I worked at a card and gift shop, I would play the hell out of the Marvin Gaye and Frank Sinatra. It was good to be an assistant assistant manager. (Actual title was key holder.)

"TAKE THIS JOB AND SHOVE IT!" One day I'm gonna have the nerve to tell my boss that. So that inspires me.

Aaliyah- Try Again.

Micheal Bolten- When I'm Back On My Feet Again

Alicia Keyes- That Girl is on Fire

Christina Aguilera- I Turn To You...... This song for me is for Jesus. I recently started asking for his guidance and strength in my losing weight/new healthy lifestyle, and I asked him to please walk with me through this journey that I have tried numerous times to do alone only to fail, I know with his guidance I will be a great success story.
