Welcome! I suggest becoming part of a sparkteam...they are great for having a smaller group to help with encouragment, motivation and advice from people going through the same thing as yourself.

Go to the top of the page. Put your cursor over the bar that says "Community". Then in the drop down box click sparkteams. There you can search for one with like interests, goals, ideas, age or ordeals....

64 yrs of age and diagnosed and treated for Coronary Artery Disease about 20 yrs ago. Since then have had bypass surgery and numerous heart caths to insert cardiac stents.
Currently a diabetic along with the other stuff and trying very hard to lose weight that I don't need in order to become healthier in the upcoming years.
I login everyday to Sparkspeople and find it very helpful to track eating habits and for encouragement from others who are taking or have been taking this journey.
