Well done on seeing positive results in your health.

In August 2009, I joined SP because I was diagnosed with Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Hormone Imbalance, and Pre-Diabetes.

I didn't take my health seriously until last year when I sent my baby off to college.

After working out 5 days a week, and making small but steady positive adjustments to my nutrition, I am proud to say that my blood test results came back today with flying colors!

My heart, arteries, liver, kidneys, thyroid, pancreas, etc., are all healthy. My cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels are within normal range too!

I needed this great news to keep me motivated to take this journey all the way to my final goal weight. Although I have 54 more pounds to go, the 46 pounds that I have lost have made all the difference to my health.

I feel great! I have more energy! People keep telling me that I look great! My clothes don't fit anymore! I'm going to be 46 next month, but I look 25-35! I'm not gonna stop now! I know that if I can make it this far, then I can make it all the way.

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Sparkpeople! Being healthy is worth the hard work! I don't have to follow my parents' and grandparents' heart disease and Diabetes footsteps! I just have to keep making baby steps in the right direction.
