As I mentioned in another post to you, as a female, you don't have enough testosterone to bulk up. You need to build muscle and lose fat to help you get the "toned" look you are looking for.

You need to do a combination of cardio and strength training though. The cardio will help you lose the fat and the muscle will help you see the "toned" look you are looking for.

I don't think you shouldn't build up muscle. And you always gain water weight after a workout. And if you're weighing yourself daily the weight will fluctuate.

I recently started skating...the problem is that I gained an inch to my thighs AND gained two kgs back from what I lost. I know about the entire muscle thingy but the prob is that how do I just tone up my thighs withiut building excessive muscle and bloat up?
