I don`t mow or shovel snow, both jobs Hubby does around the house. I do not count regular housecleaning, but the monthly mopping and scrubbing, etc...yes I put it down,as well as hand washing my car.
PS I once posted asking how to figure calories on these jobs and was told not to count every day chores, I specified these were not the everyday chores and was very rudely told I was only hurting myself.

I dont count house cleaning. I have 10 acres to mow and do it on a riding lawn mower so nope We get so much snow here we have a Bobcat to move it all. so i cant count that either.

I include mowing the lawn. House cleaning I consider in my regular BMR. Shoveling snow...ha... when we get that we have to have someone plow our driveway due to the snow plows dumping the snow from the roads into our driveway.

Mow lawn, house cleaning, shovelling snow are included in the workouts. For at least it is for me.
