I see your SparkPage is private so being more personal with this reply is not possible. The one thing that I do find works for motivation is to look within and draw from your wisest dreams and goals. Make a plan with realistic goals, take time to read the wealth of "Healthy Lifestyle" articles. Resolve to make every choice a step in the direction of your dreams. Keep affirmations ready to counter any negative self talk. Take this opportunity to be the best you possible. You are worth the effort it takes to empower yourself and enjoy a thriving and happy life. Health is Wealth!!

When anything in life makes us feel like we are losing control, sometimes it helps to slam on the breaks. We need to stop and think about what we are facing - what is in our control? what is not? what are our goals?
When you can think about a situation like that, you will be ready to affect positive change.

You can do it! I know when I started, knowing I had so much weight to lose was really daunting, and it was hard to stay motivated, especially because I tried to tell myself I could lose the weight in a year, but in the back of my mind, I knew that this process would be slow. My motivation was at first misplaced, as I thought the only reason I wanted this was to look cute, or somehow prove to others that I could do it.
My motivation now is to do this just for myself. I had to realize that no one else was going to do this for me, and no one else will care whether or not I lose weight (How many times have we all heard "Oh, you're fine, you don't need to change a thing!"). My family isn't going to love me less if I don't lose the weight. Taking this on is an expression of love for myself that I took way too long to understand. I stopped exercising because I hated myself, and started doing it because I love myself.
You can do it! Take it slow, and start with something small like drinking an extra glass of water a day. Soon, you'll find that the successes will add up, and you won't want to stop :)
Yes, it's taken me 3 years just to get to where I am now, but I've learned so much about myself, and I'm actually happy because I've done it by making small changes over a period of time. I also am grateful because if I had lost it too quickly, my skin might not have had a chance to shrink with my body.

I need all the support and motivation I can get right now. I feel like I'm getting bigger and bigger every minute. Maybe I just need a buddy or something to help me a long this rough road. i née to lose this weight and get on the road to a healthier me.
