Im Nancy, 63, 64 in February, and have been here all along off and on. I went to the doctor today for a check up and discovered I have lost another 1/2 inch since last year so need to change my goal because shorter people are supposed to be lighter. I have been yo-yoing from 3-7 pounds away from my previous goal all this last year so now have to set the goal lighter and hopefully get more serious and loose the weight.

Doing the same thing...I have the spark coach & kinda starting again after the holidays! Did not totally regain all that I have lost- but regained enuf!! So....just like you I am motivated to start again with a new commitment to make this lifestyle work!

I have battled my weight since I was a young child. I have had a knee replacement and fusion in my back and now I am ready to try again. Starting January 1 , I start again.

I've lost over 100 pounds and have found that the encouragement of others is ESSENTIAL. Daily interaction on a small team has been instrumental in my weight loss. I'm taking a new highway in 2014. I'm going to be doing four 10 week QUARTERS of "Beyond the Scale". The encouragement of a small team (about 25), coupled with weigh-in accountability, fitness and nutrition guidance and opportunities to participate in healthy living challenges will help me keep my focus and make the progress I desire to get to ONEDERLAND!
There are openings now if YOU would like to be a part of the next 10 week challenge which begins Jan. 6th and runs 10 weeks.
No matter what route you take, Sparkpeople will help you. Just like anything else the more you put into it the more you get out of it!
