Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around. I want to thank everyone for your tips and encouragement. It has gotten me motivated again to try to lose this weight and get my cholesterol numbers down. I visited with the doctor this week and it wasn't good. My mom is doing great and moving into assisted living in about a week. She is back with my sister, the grand kids and all of her sisters and brothers. She has really perked up and improved since we moved her. I still have the dogs and I am trying to walk with them as much as I can. I purchased The Spark Solution and can't wait to really get into it. I am determined to do this. Doctor said if I don't do something I could end up in the hospital and I sure don't want that. Thank you all again and I will keep in touch.
Welcome. Take some time for yourself everyday~even if it is only 5 minutes. Try to record what you eat, it helps get you to focus on everything you put in your mouth. It also helps to see what you are doing wrong. Good luck to you.

Hi Melissa, Welcome to SP! It sounds like you have a lot on your plate. A little bit of daily exercise is better than none. 10 minutes a day is a good start. And being active on your Spark Teams will help keep you accountable and motivated.

Hi my name is Melissa and I am really struggling with getting my weight down. Just when I think things are going well life happens. I have been taking care of my mother since 7/12 and in the last 2 months she has been in and out of the hospital and will probably be on oxygen for the rest of her life. Finding time for anything is the hardest. Between working full time, taking care of mom's dogs and stress I am just exhausted. Any help would be appreciated.
