Thanks to all who have anwered me. It was all helpful. I have been doing belly button here. But it does make a difference if you want to do hip to waist measurement. Coach Jen suggests 1/2 above belly button. I will see how close that is to where natural waistline is. My main goal right now is to try and firm up muscles esp belly area. I never have had a skinny waist. I just want to get better muscle tone. I would rather have a higher weight and muscle instead of being skinny with fat. Thank you all very much. Now the work is o for building muscle and getting rid of fat.

The point of measuring is to track your progress over time, not to compare yourself to someone else. So as long as you are measuring in the same place each time, exactly where doesn't matter.

I agree to just measure the same places everytime. I do my hip about 1" under belly button and my waist is at it smallest part.

If you don't love yourself....how can you expect others to.

It doesn't matter; just use the same one every time so it's consistent.

... or what Jen says. Hehe :-D

We recommend measuring your waist 1/2 inch above the belly button.

Hope that helps,

Where do you measure your waist at for this site? Some use natural waistline and some use belly button. So can anyone say which one I should use for this site to track measurements? Thanks everyone in advance.
