Spinach-- it is high in B-vitamins, iron, and magnesium. The body may become deficient in these vitamins and minerals during your period. It is important to take vitamin C with iron as well for absorption.

I have found that during that time of the month, ones of the things to expect is that I won't feel satisfied. So, I eat knowing that it is hormonal, and that it will go away.

What "time"? are you talking about your period?

You should eat as you normally do. Your nutritional needs don't really change that much during your period.
