I've been using the meal plans as well and if you scroll down to the bottom of the daily food tracker page, there's an option to print this week's meal plan. That will give you a full week's view. Unfortunately you can't switch meals from the week-long menu, but it opens in a separate window so I find it pretty easy to use the weekly menu to identify the specific meals I want to change and then go straight to those days on the nutrition tracker in the other window.
As for the recipes, I've only been following the meal plan for a week but I haven't run into anything that didn't have instructions of some sort. Usually either there's a link to a recipe next to the recipe name or look right under where it says lunch/dinner/etc for the meal name and sometimes there's a small link that says "Directions." But this won't show up if you've swapped out items within the meal so you need to select the original meal, get the directions and then swap ingredients.

I used the pre-planned menus as suggestions and then use the ingredients I like.

No idea I don't use their plans, to limited for my needs - I find it best to do it from scratch and put in what I won't daily.
You can from what I understand get a print out of the items for the week - how I have no idea since I've not looked at the thing, but I know it was an option that was posted about a while back as a way of planning ones grocery list for the week.
You do have to go day by day. There is no 'whole week' view.
It is a bit strange that they don't provide the recipe, you just kind of have to work that out. If you're really not sure what to do with any particular one, you can swap the entire meal by clicking the icon on the right.

I am trying to use the SparkPeople meal plan that is on the food tracker, but I have found it very user un-friendly. How in the world to you preview the up comping week's menu and easily switch out meals without having to go day by day? Also, it lists ingredients, but never gives you an actual recipe to make that item. What am I missing? Because it feels like it should be obvious and I'm just oblivious. PLEASE HELP!! I wanted to figure it out today so I could grocery shop for the week, but with 16 month old twins, I just don't have hours to work on this. Thanks!
