It is possible the person has stopped posting here at all, but there was one person who had very odd threads, beginning with an unusual title, and very little words/detail within. Haven't seen anything by them since at least Christmas, if I recall.
And, no, you're not the only one who noticed that notation
Then there is this person who just posts a Ya! emoticon for everything! And I mean EVERYTHING!!!! I find him sooooo annoying but he keeps doing it anyway, even when I pointed it out!

It is irritating! You can report it as an inappropriate thread. When it asks for an explanation, you can type "Yes-no thread in cafe". Some of the threads mentioned have been around so long (many responses), that I personally haven't bothered to say anything. I did report one such thread, though, and it was removed.

I know that can be annoying, but not everyone has a lot of time, is a good typist, or just a great communicator.
Some people want to give their support, let you know they read your thread, but just don't know exactly what to say, so don't focus too much on it, think of it as a compliment.
Best wishes to you! -Lisa

Unfortunately as long as those threads are still in the Forum, people will answer. I look for new subjects to discuss when I post in the cafe but if there isn't anything, I am guilty of the one word answer.

Hear hear. There should be some forum monitors that can delete those threads—and change the message to let people know why their gazillion messages have disappeared. Although this is the community chat, so things are probably a wee bit more casual here.
I probably WOULD do better not to get bugged by it, buuuut, when it's on my posts, it bothers the pooo outa me. LOL! I'm glad it IS NOT just me.

I agree, I hate the ridiculous amounts of "what did you eat for breakfast this morning?" "how many minutes did you exercise today?" "how many points did you get on the wheel today?" I like to browse through the message boards to help people/answer questions and weigh in on certain topics. The topics with thousands of one-word responses that are always clogging the first few pages on the forums belong in the game forum.
I agree with you, especially if you spend ages typing something out in hope to get some responses, you get excited when you see someone has replied and then the anger when you realise it's just someone giving a 1 word answer! argh!
