I love that you are thinking of ways to use that halloween candy other than gobbling it down...good for you. Even tho' we may not be eating the snacks like we used to, that doesn't mean we can't have some neat sweet treats for others...I tend to want to toss it out, just to keep away temptation, but your idea of making cookies and putting away for holidays is fantastic. Thanks.

I have a really good and easy recipe. Cut up a few apples into bite sized pieces, add chopped candy bars (baby ruth works well) and mix with coolwhip. You can also add mini marshmallows, but I never do and it turns out ok.

Candy Bar Cookies I am assuming you could freeze them 1 cup salted butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 2 1/2 cups flour 6 ounces chopped candy bar of choice Mix butter and sugar together. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour,baking powder,and salt. Then fold in candy bar Place small balls on cookie sheet bake at 350 for around 10 min
