@eric: Having a meaty chest and/or man cleavage (aka muscular pecs) is often confused with man boobs from estrogen. At 49 the tip of my pecs have fat but they do not droop as my chest muscles are pulling at the tips and flattening them.
Chest muscles develop quickly with weight training because the modern lifestyle leads to underdeveloped chest muscles.
You need to lower the weight you are benching/flying and do more reps and sets with shorter rests between sets. Also, work your upper back just as hard as you work your chest to pull your chest muscles back.

The man boobs will go away to some extent on their own as you drop pounds, or at least get less pronounced. For me the man boobs have been a constant tracker of progress as they went from droopy to floppy to pointy and finally have flattened out significantly and started looking like a chest I can almost be proud of. It's a process, and at the beginning of your weight loss program you can't really knock yourself for any of the physical attributes you don't like, because they're all going to change significantly.

When I was at my heaviest, I developed a real bad case of 'man boobs'. Now even after losing 60 pounds, I can't get rid of them.
When I was at my heaviest I had man boobs; that is to say I had a lot of fat on my chest and they were pointy somewhat.
Today, I have developed my pecs and still have fat on my chest but it has been reshaped to be flatter AND I have something called "deep chest" aka man cleavage. I was worried at first but then realized that I was just a meaty kind of guy and it would okay to live with it especially since I catch women all the time checking me out......soooooooo, I figure some women LIKE meaty chests but my chest is NO LONGER the way it looked when I was fat.

My wife and I were just discussing this over the weekend. After 9 weeks, that is the main place I can see a change on myself. Not sure why since it all comes off the same way it went on, a little bit everywhere. I figure regardless of where I notice the change, there has to be change happening because I am loosing weight and feeling better each week.
As you can see by my tracker I have a lot of weight to loose. I am doing a good job especially lately with strength and cardio training even though I have a broken leg.
Having worked on my upper body for about 5 weeks my upper chest has leaned out and I now have "man boobs". I am hopping that as I continue to work on my chest and core as well as loose additional weight that they will go away.
I guess time will tell. Although I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been here before me.
