I joined last year and just came back to make another go of it. I cannot believe that in this last year I have gained another 25 pounds. I finally found a book that has helped me through my difficult transition through menopause and turning 50. Everything has changed about me and I needed to understand why. Now I know that I am not who I was before - ONLY OLDER. The book that has turned me onto a path of hope is called: Inventing the Rest of Our Lives: Women in Second Adulthood by Suzanne Braun Levine. I have been binging on food and wine the last year and now I have tons of work to do to get this weight off. It feels so overwhelming. But I am optimistic. I would love to make some friends on sparkpeople whom I can communicate and relate to. Anyone out there?
