Welcome back! As you know, this is a great site for learning to eat healthy and to lose weight. So much enthusiasm and encouragement. Take a step at a time. Using the Food Tracker and Exercise Log are very helpful, Also even after 4 years, I do 99% of my SparkMail each day. So much information. That is unless we go on vacation. Also the points are great incentive. Shop around for a couple of SparkTeams that suit you-might be different from your husband's although it is great you can work and exercise together. GOOD LUCK!

Welcome back! I came back for a second time last year, finally hit my goal and have stayed on to maintain my weight loss.

Welcome back! If at first you don't succeed, try again...I think it's rare for someone to get everything just right on their first go! You haven't given up, that's the important thing, and feeling ready is a great sign! Believe in yourself, emoticon

I've tried it all throughout my life. Anyone remember the grapefruit diet, the diet doctors, the low-fat, low-carb, some were low-taste and starve yourself! I've also been a member of several different weight-loss programs, and none have worked. There are some really great programs, such as WW, but it didn't work for me because I would 'play' with the program and get frustrated at myself - then quit. This past year my husband retired, and after him gaining the retirement '15' (if there is such a thing), and me starting to creep back up, we both decided to do something about it. We were overweight to begin with, and working together is so much easier. I was a member here a couple of years ago, but guess I just wasn't ready. Well, I'm ready now! Have followed MOSTMOM1 on Facebook, and she is great and gives a lot of motivation and humor. Thanks for having me back!!
