I have had 2 goals since I started this healthier journey that I was hoping to meet by the end of the year.
One was to pass a weight milestone - getting under 150 (so they didn't have to move the big weight on the scale 3 notches anymore before they started sliding the smaller weight). Funny the things we can find ourselves effected by.....
The second - so I didn't get too fixated on a number - was to be in "single digit" clothes by the end of the year. A thin friend of mine used that phrase once and it stuck with me. Never mind that she used it in the context of something to the effect that she would die if she ever got up into double digit clothes (size 10 or higher).
Well, I have started to fit in about half of my size 8 clothes. Some are still too tight (I can put them on and fastened them up but wouldn't go out in public in anything that form fitting). And then today was my monthly weight and measures at Curves. And I was 149 pounds!
