On the days I don't feel like hitting the gym I make a deal with myself to go do something - anything - for 15 minutes. Then I can pack up and head home. Usually I end up doing more than that, but I'd be lying if I said there weren't a few days where I counted down the seconds until I was done Even on those days at least I got some time in, and I've never left the gym feeling like it was a waste of time and effort

Where there's a will, there's a way! Getting to the gym is never convenient, so I can definitely relate to you there. It's just a lifestyle change that we have to accept, and be ok with the fact that we're dedicating so much time towards working out (it usually takes about 3-4 weeks before something becomes routine, so hang in there!)...keep your eye on the overall reason you're doing what you're doing, to be healthy, live long and prosper! :) That usually keeps me motivated.

Hi there Today was the first day back to the gym...after a 3 month hiatus.......I would like to get back to the gym 3-4 times a week....the problem is staying motivated...obviously just getting there is the problem, once I'm there, I give it my all.
My work schedule is all over the place, so its hard to stick to going to the gym ...but wether im off or not, I know myself enough that mornings work best, get it over and done with.
I suppose setting goals works best, and have to stick to it
