I would check out Linda Genaw low carb recipes online.
Vegetables and fruits provide all the carbohydrates a child/human could ever need. Humans existed healthfully for thousands of years without eating grains before the agricultural revolution.

I would be very careful if you are planning on putting your children onto a low carb diet! They really need their carbs!

The adkins for life book has 6 months of menus and 125 recipies for low carb with all the nutrition info. I got mine on amazon the other day for a penny plus 3.99 shipping. Even if you don't follow the adkins way there's a lot of good recipies in the book.

I am experimenting with a low carb diet (little to no wheat) and am looking for a cookbook suggestion. HOWEVER, I want one that gives me the calories and all the nutritionals. I cook for myself and children so I need it to have fast recipes and some that will appeal to the group. All the ones I am finding (paleo, etc.). don't give me the calories. I really like to track those. Thanks for any suggestions!
