I love the recipes on Spark People. I look for low sodium and since joining Spark People in June, my blood pressure is almost normal. Go Dee in RI!

That's my main reason for using spark recipes. They show the nutrient value for each meal. On top of that they taste so good. When I search for a recipe I look for the lowest calories, fat and sodium. I especially avoid fat when possible.
I have cooked recipes lately that I have not done in years, some never.

I totally agree! My BP has never been an issue, but my husband has been told many times by his PCP to lower his sodium intake. When looking at what I buy in the grocery store and searching for recipes on here, one of the first things I look at is the amount of sodium.
Thanks for adding to the discussion everyone. Hopefully they will get this added. Until then, I will continue to use their Recipe Calculator as a way to monitor sodium levels in my cooking. Have not found any other site that does this. Thanks.

Yes, please add low sodium as an option. The main reason I use the site is to track sodium.

Another vote for low sodium- the tracker has really helped me! Sometimes I will put something in and then see how I can MAKEOVER and reduce sodium or carbs, or fat. This site is truly a life saver!
Why isn't "Low Sodium" one of the Dietary choices when searching for, or entering new recipes? Plenty of people are on Salt Restricted diets these days and it would be nice to make it easier to find and share these types of recipes.
