I wear plain black guage hoops to fill up the slits...simple and match my other jewelry nicely.

Yes, I loved, loved, loved those big, colorful 1980s earrings!

But the heaviness sure stretched out my pierced ears. My ear lobe is a tiny fraction away from splitting.

Short of the HUGE expense of using a plastic surgeon to repair the split, do I have any other options?

(I'm already wearing mostly clip-on earrings now, but I still love my lighter-weight pierced earrings.)
