We all have slip ups. The important thing is.. you recognized it.. owned it... and moved on more positively!

it's horrible how some foods seem to trigger the impulse to consume more, mindlessly

Good for you for tracking it, and moving on

Mmmmmmm shortbread.

You did do good and track it. And you didn't eat another piece. Those are victories!

That's a lovely quote, Obie's Mom.

As for shortbread, well, I'm impressed that you stopped at three. There's a reason I won't let it through the door. :)

I am having a very bad day....just got more bad news. So I gobbled down 3 shortbread! I did one thing right....I tracked it on my food tracker. This stopped me from eating the 4th. Also, it made me determined to eat well for the rest of the day!

The key to me eating healthfully is eating mindfully. This means reading labels, making balanced choices, and most importantly, listening to my body's hunger cues.
