I had lost a wee bit more weight than that before my clothes (trou) started to get baggy on me. Then not long after I was at a Dietitian appointment, I stood up for her to measure my waist; my trou fell down totally unaided
The Dietitian told me a long time after that often the belly is the last part to reduce, but exercise (as opposed to walking) would take care of that. Even now, my waist isn't very much smaller than it was when I started my journey a long time (weight) ago. BUT I have gone from a NZ size 20-22 to a 12-14 or a 14-16 for trou. That is MUCH better than the 20-22. I haven't been doing the type of exercise to reduce the tummy either.

Yeah, my stomach is still holding on for dear life and I've lost 35 lbs. I have gone down a few pant sizes but not what I would except for losing that much. I have lost inches in my waist (about 5 inches) but my stomach is still really disproportioned to the rest of me, apple shape as well.
So I'm hoping it's just one of those "first on, last off" deals. I really don't understand why I'm only 12 lbs from my goal weight and still so huge in the gut. I do tons of cardio, strength training, eat clean and low sodium. At this rate I really can't see 12 lbs making all that much of a difference. So I have no clue what to do. I've heard people say their last 10 lbs made all the difference. We'll see, I guess. I don't really see the point in being 110 lbs if I still look 5 months pregnant. Is that even possible?

My belly is the last thing to go down too. It drives me crazy sometimes because it looks like I am wearing pants that are too big, but they are huge in the thigh area and just fit in the hips. Keep going with the program though, it does go down. In my experience, it's the last to go down and isn't as dramatic as other areas. And I eat whole foods, do kettlebell kickboxing or Insanity workouts in the morning and a jog at night (plus as many steps throughout the day as I can).

No advice, just a comment that I too have recently noticed that my belly is still looking about four or five months pregnant. I would have thought by now it would be looking better. And I too was wondering what it would take to get it with the program. I've read that no amount of crunches will help, you just have to get rid of the fat. So what do we do?????

When will my belly start getting with the program? I'd expected the weight loss to affect the fit of my pants / jeans by now, even though I'm apple-shaped. I've had to remove my wedding rings as they have started to slip off, but really, I can't have lost 15 pounds of finger-fat.
