1650-2030---sounds like it is a weight loss range, not a "maintain" my current body weight range. What did you select when you set up your program??? You may have selected weight loss, not maintenance. If your goal is to maintain your weight and you are losing---then of course you are not eating enough.

I agree that your goal is to do what is best for your body. Based on your information and past medical history---you should be discussing this topic with your doctor and asking if a referral to see a Registered Dietitian if necessary.

Print and take you nutrition tracker records. The doctor or dietitian can help to determine the calorie range that is appropriate for your medical issues.

I'm a male, 61 years old, 6 feet tall. I'm pretty active. I have a physical part time job. I walk 4 miles a day on my 3 days off. On days I work I swing kettlebells for 20 minutes and Indian clubs for 10 to loosen up before work. I had a kidney transplant 9 years ago. The medication I take makes me prone to drug induced diabetes. I have a tendency to not eat enough. I thought it might be a good idea to join Sparkpeople and monitor what I eat to make sure I eat enough and of the right thing. I don't wanna mess up the kidney or end up with diabetes either. OK, so the problem: when I joined I weighed 166. My goal was 166 on the pre-diabetic program. The plan says to eat between 1650 and 2030. I stay within or close to the guidelines every day. But I'm losing weight. Today I weighed 157.5. I feel great. No apparent muscle or energy loss. My blood tests are fine. I constantly burn 400 or more calories than I eat. Should I go over the 2030 calorie limit or should I keep doing what I'm doing. I don't care about the weight. I just want to do what's best for me. Thanks! Sorry for the long post.
