I honestly believe that nothing we tell you will motivate you to stay on track. You have to figure out what motivates you. You have to really, REALLY want this to stick with it because it's a long, confusing, frustrating but rewarding journey.

We all have moments like that.
SparkPeople has recommended making a Motivation Board- and put it somewhere you will easily see.
You can put a picture of a dress you'd like to fit into, a bathing suit, a vacation spot, a photo of your daughter, things that help us to keep our goals visual.
Also, before you go to bed at night- write down 3-6 things you will do the next day, don't spend more than 10 minutes on it, and it can be repeated: You can write Tomorrow I will: 1. Get 10 minutes of Fitness 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water 3. eat within my calorie range 4. say no to sweets (or diet soda or whatever) 5. eat 3 meals and 2 healthy snacks 6. Eat 5 fruits and veggies
Losing motivation is NOT an option. Go to the Wounded Warrior Foundation web page and look at the pics of these guys & gals without limbs running races and doing all kinds of things. Adopt an attitude of 'No Excuses'. Suck it up and do the right thing - it's a win-win any way you cut it and YOU are the benefactor. All you have to do is adjust your attitude.
Your motivation is that beautiful little girl and your handsome hubby that I saw on your page! You have to believe in yourself! The holidays are winding down now and it will get easier we all get tempted this time of year and now we need to refocus on ourselves and you can do this! Just BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Motivation actually has to come from "within" oneself, otherwise, who will always be there with you when you make your food choices? None of us will, nor your friends or family. If your heart ain't in eating healthier to lose weight, no web site nor celeb report, or anything else will "do" anything for you............that's just the way it is, and why there is no easy way or guarantee that you will lose weight and keep it off for life. Which makes for a million dollar business. Do the best you can, if it's a health issue, a dietitian might help because you have regular appts. and it might be more "personal" for you.

I thought joining sparkpeople would help me gain motivation. But I'm unsure if its doing anything. I'm motivated one day and lazy the next ! Any advice ?
