Why is it all I have to do is SAY the words 'new challenge' and the scales jumps in the WRONG direction???
I know why ... I ran out of salad fixings and fresh veggies and have had carbs in the evenings...going to the grocery store tomorrow....

Hi everyone- hope you are all doing well. I'm on my first week of using the Body by Vi shakes. I debated over a year on doing it and finally decided to try it and see if it's as good as it's hyped up to be. Made it to an aerobics class last night that kicked my butt. I felt great afterwards!

All right, 5 pounds for August. Here we go!
My current weight is 198lbs, so my goal is to reach 193lbs by the end of August.
I'll be traveling and visiting family for a couple weeks this month, so it'll be a challenge to stay on track, because I won't be in my home environment or normal routine. BUT with a little planning and mindfulness I know I can stick to my healthy lifestyle and reach my August goal!

Hi all, I'm new to SparkPeople. After losing 50 lbs on the OLD weight watchers program (about 10 years ago) and trying and failing multiple times on their newer programs, I decided to try this. I am now 40 and know it will probably be a different experience and more difficult than when I was younger. I want to change and need to change and am setting a small goal of losing 5 lbs. by the end of August. Best wishes to you all in achieving your goals!
Well I weigh in on Saturdays for another challenge and after not enough exercise and anight of mindless eating because I had not eaten during the day....My scales was still down a half pound this morning so I am hopeful I'll have a 'real loss' by the 8th ....we shall see.
Let's see how many total pounds we can lose in August. Aim for 5, then let us know at month's end what your total is.
