W2D5 of fitness is function Kettlebell DVD.
Yes Inches over pounds is always nice!!! Keep it up.

Nervous about planning a week vacation. afraid of gaining the weight with no "workout" and not having my regular foods. HOPEFULLY we can do enough walking and biking to make up for some of it.

Lou I missed it what happened to your wrist? I hope it's better soon, I know having two broken toes since the beginning of June has hindered some of the moves I can do and really effected my foot overall. Hoping it's better by the end of August.

Still the same but seeing changes. Have a great Friday.

On the positive side, my hand/wrist is doing pretty well as I start to use it again. I have yet to put my weight on it (as in doing push ups) or lift a weight of more than 5 pounds, but it's doing well with normal life activities and with using a few small weights.

On the negative side, I have eaten way too much this week and have gained some weight.

I believe they are varied. Which is always nice.

Still stuck but seeing my size in inches go down, I'd actually take that over weight right now.

Have an awesome Thursday.

7/7 - 159.8
7/10 - 158.0

7/31 - ANY LOSS!!!!

Right direction, but I Have seen this happen before.
Yesterday I was doing good and even had a later lunch since I wasn't hungry, and after that, I seemed to keep raiding the cupboards. Chugging more water today, making cinnamon roasted almonds to snack on later.

W2D4 of fitness is function kettlebell DVD. SO I looked at the next 2 weeks scheduled workouts and it adds an extra workout on weeks 3 and 4. SO week 1 and 2 you do 2 workouts, rest day, 2 more workouts 2 rest days. Weeks 3 and 4 are 3 workouts, rest day, 2 workouts rest day. I will have to wait and see if they end up with longer workouts as well.

Have a great day!

Grilled chicken and grilled veggies for dinner tonight, last night was steak and grilled sweet corn.

I figured you would be swamped again on top of your already swamped load. SORRY!!!!

Scale was DOWN this morning. Not sure if it's a fluke or not. HOPE I can keep it there for a LONG time, and continue to drop.

Today W2D2 of fitness is function kettlebell DVD. Tomorrow rest day.

Still the same I think until all this job stress is less (not going to happen anytime soon with the tornado damage from Sunday evening)my weight is going to be stuck for a while. I'll just keep plugging away. Hopefully I'll find the right motivation.

Had a crazy bad week and didn't track, ate out too much (not making great choices while out either). But my weight stayed even...so time to focus...revamp...and get myself on the right path.

Actually I just read an article in Prevention that says rest will net more benefits than over exercising does. You should implement walks or other forms of activity on the rest days for that dvd.

Busy weekend, bummed it's over. Is it Friday yet?

Beautiful weather today -- after Hurricane Arthur cleared everything out. I didn't go for a walk yesterday afternoon as I had planned, but I did some strength strength training instead. I went for a walk first thing this morning and didn't see any evidence of storm damage.

As usual though, when I exercise in the morning, I have trouble staying awake for the rest of the day. So I have had to take a nap this afternoon and didn't get as much done around the house as I would have liked. That's why I prefer to exercise at night when I can.

small loss so far for me as I head towards the week of BAD eating. Wedding menu tasting and ohs birthday on Thursday which wll involve quite a few drinks (my first child free night in over two years eeee!)
I wasn't going to make OH a birthday cake because we're going out but he looked so sad when I told him that now I have to! Then on Saturday we're going out for a meal with his family to celebrate his birthday with them but that should be ok as its mid afternoon so the one meal wll be lunch and dinner combined calorie wise.

just need to be careful with the other days and I should be ok... I hope!

Office mate brought a big box of Krispy Kreme's into the office this week ... and we had a little holiday party yesterday ... and I started the month by eating horribly and gaining a little weight. Ugh!

But this morning, my weight was back to my starting weight and I feel relieved about that. I hope to use this 3 day weekend with no special plans as an opportunity to lose a little. Because we were expecting bad weather today from Hurricane Arthur, I was planning to stay indoors and doing a DVD. But the weather has cleared up a little earlier than expected and I am tempted to go for a walk instead -- curious to assess my neighborhood for any signs of the bad weather that happened overnight.

Happy 4th! of July. Make sure to have fun at the pool. I love swimming ^_^, I am heading to the beach early Sunday morning with my brother and sister. We reached there minutes to 10 and there were already a good amount of people there, we are going to aim for 8 this time around so I need to prepare all of our stuff (gear and snacks) Saturday night.

Happy 4th of July!
More Fitness is Function Kettlebell DVD today. Next 2 days say rest days. Not sure if I like that. BUT we are going to our annual family pool day at my aunts tomorrow so I SHOULD get in the pool and at least stay in deep end to work some extra muscles. Not sure what we are doing on Sunday yet. Kind of want to head to the beach for part of the day, we shall see.

Have a great weekend.

I am in! I weighed myself this morning.

(Jul 2) SW: 129
(Aug 2) GW: 126

July 1 I did 15 minute core exercises and took the dog for a walk.
This morning as part of another challenge I did 6 squats.
This evening I plan to go running after work and at home I plan to do my core exercises again.

At the end of July besides losing 3 pounds I want to be able to:
Do 60 squats and 30 push-ups.
Run for 5 minutes straight (this might be too low we’ll see)
Drink 8 glasses of water a day
Sleep 8 hours a night

Forgot to weigh yesterday so not a good start to the month ha but I'll just use todays weight

SW - 144.8
GW - 142

I was toying with the idea of putting 140 as my goal but tbh, theres no way I can lose nearly 5lbs in a month! 2.8 seems more doable. I'm really looking forward to seeing 143 on the scales for some reason, I've never been that low so its quite exciting! The thought of being in the 130s in a couple of pounds is amazing.

really need to get back to strength training properly again though, my arms and stomach (well all of me infact) need ALOT of toning!

Have our wedding menu tasting next week, OH's 30th birthday aswell so I'll make him a little cake so need to be really careful not to go too mad there...

I've eaten too much the last couple of days and gained a few ounces. But as of yesterday, I don't have to wear a big splint on my wrist. The bone seems to have healed nicely and I am hoping to get back into a more vigorous exercise routine and some upper body strength training this month.

Come join us in setting small goals each month. It can help to reach your larger goal.

On July 1- post your start weight, and a goal weight you would like to reach by July 31.
Post as often as you would like to let us know how you are doing. We are here to help, motivate and cheer you on to reach your goal.
Even if you struggle like me each month, you may find you are not alone.
