Spent most of the day driving home from vacation. Too many cars on the road slowed me down, but I made the trip without incident. Once here, I did just a short, easy Leslie Sansone DVD to try to help get myself back into my normal routine.

Tomorrow ... it's back to my job and back to my usual routine. Having eaten too much while on vacation, I dread getting on the scale tomorrow morning. Yikes!

almost done with mowing. about 90 degrees here. drinking a lot of water. gave the birds fresh water. watered the rhubarb for they are new plants.

I am a bit pround of myself today. Finding myself alone for the morning while my sister and her husband played golf, I got a little exercise. It was nothing earth shattering, but I did it while on vacation and that is a good thing.

One of the things I did was take a quick walk around her block, jogging for few minutes at the beginning and at the end. I have been fantasizing about becoming a runner now that I am getting in better shape. Running is something I have never been good at, even as a kid. What I learned with my little attempt this morning is that I am still not a natural runner -- so heavy on my feet ... thud, thud, thud ... not good. So at least I got the idea of trying it out of my system this morning. But the walking portion went just fine.

Hi team!
I'm also on vacation from Sunday-Tuesday. I am currently doing Insanity, so I will hopefully only miss one of the workouts on Monday, Sun is rest day, and I can do Tues in the eve when I'm back home. Next week is recovery week for me so not so bad to miss one day and take it as an extra rest day.
We will be doing a lot of walking, and I have the MFP app to keep track of my food. Hoping to have lots of seafood as we are going to the coast. Of course I will keep the water intake up.

As well as going away it's my birthday on Saturday. I am going out with my friend and mum for a meal Friday night then on for drinks with my friend. I'm going to make the best choices I can and perhaps workout a bit longer Friday morning which should help out somewhat. I'm then going out for another meal Saturday night with my dad and brother.

Lots of challenging times ahead, but I really want to knuckle down now and start seeing results again, so I have to keep my goal in mind.

Today I will start wii or videos I bought some exercise shoes but now to decide on shoes to wear to airport.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow. So I won't be tracking everything like I do here at home. I usually give myself a bit of a break when I travel, but I try to still eat sensibly and get a little exercise. Usually, I find that I don't gain weight -- or if I do, it is only a pound.

I'll be visiting my family in the Gettysburg, PA area. With this week being the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, I wanted to go home for a bit to at least mark the ocassion.

Today's weight was up a little bit, but just a little.

I ended up reaching my goal in June (just barely) -- and now it is on to July. My goal will be another 2 pounds. That will be hard enough as my weight loss has been pretty slow this year, but slow is OK as long as it is steady.
