I gained .1 this past week. But I am so HAPPY! I just found out that I'm PREGNANT! emoticon Guess I'll keep focusing on eating healthy and staying active.

Thanks! I usually just enter some things here on SP, but I know I leave a LOT of stuff out. Or end up changing what I thought I was going to eat.
If the scale wasn't nice this morning I was thinking I should put it away for a while. But nervous to do that too, cause I know it pushes me to get more control.
Usually summers stress me out with the kids home and them fighting all the time, but this summer I have hardly seen them, cause they are out playing all day long!

Today I did Bob's Cardio Conditioning and used the 30lb kettlebell as often as I could.

Beckie do you keep a journal of what you do for exercise daily, if so you may want to review what you were doing previously and go back to that. Also it may not hurt to write down everything you are eating for couple of weeks and portion sizes you may be surprised to find out that there is some work that can be done there as well. I have journals since I decided to exercise for the whole year and not take any time off like I used to and let's just say I have a lot of journals now. LOL Also you may want to look ahead to an upcoming family event and start making plans to be a certain weight by than, we work better sometimes when we have goals to achieve. Waiting till tomorrow to weight in, have a great Thursday.

Yes, mixing it up can help.
do your best with all the busy things that are going on.

Today I did Jillian's Kickbox fast fix and Did workouts 3, 2 and 1 in that order.

Really TICKED that my weight jumped to 162.4 today. this would be my highest since I lost the weight 3+ years ago. I always have kept between 152-160 TOPS. and was always able to get back close to 155. BUT I have not been able to get that number in the last 6 months! Nothing is working. SUCKS. Guess I just need to keep working on it.

So, not sure what is going on with my motivation & will to keep on tract. Something is going on & I think I'm just getting tired of the same routine. My friend & I discussed how we are worn out from running. So, we went for a good long walk yesterday (4 miles). We're going to keep this up three times a week at least now.

I did a bad thing & bought cookies for our house. Really bad... I've had one a day for sure. My husband & I need to finish it up & get it out of the house!

It will be another busy week this week. Piano student last night & my walk. Tonight is a gathering with friends & eating pudgie pies. Tomorrow is a church meeting for a couple of hours. Friday is the Def Leppard & Kiss concert & overnight at a hotel. Saturday is a get together/birthday gathering for another friend. And Sunday might be a day of rest. I'm exhausted just thinking of it!

Here's my results from this week:
Starting weight 7/31/2014 - 219.6
Weight on 8/7/2014 - 219.6 -- Didn't change which is fine by me.
Current Weight on 8/13/2014 - 220.8 - Gained a pound.

Goal Weight - at least 217.6 (setting the goal on the lower end of things.)

Well, not surprised since we were on vacation last week. scale actually is better than when I first got back which was 162.
We did do lots of walking and hiking Monday. Biked 16-20 miles Tuesday, hiked, walked and lots of steps on Wed., more walking Thursday and even walked at least 3 miles through a moving river, And walked at least 2 miles through sand dunes on Friday. So NOT a lazy vacation, just lots of carbs with choosing grilled chicken sandwiches, chicken flatbread pizza.... only 2 days of ice cream (could have been worse)

SO back to workouts. Sunday was Iron Core Kettlebells warrior 1. Monday rest day since buns were still sore, and needed groceries SO badly, today was Bob Harper's Ultimate cardio but also uses weights.

Scale a little friendlier this morning. I hope to build on that little loss this weekend as I will not be going out to eat or anything. I'll be home alone all weekend and hope to exercise a lot and eat light to give myself a little push. I got off to a good start by taking a long walk this morning and avoiding an unhealthy binge of carbs afterwards.

Didn't weight this morning will get a number tomorrow, still going strong with the clean eating and no sugar. Hope to keep it going for at least two weeks and see what happens.

Having a great start to August as far as weight loss goes. I went to my chiropractor this past week and was told I have tendinitis in my right hip. I haven't worked out really the past couple weeks, just some stretching. She said it's going to take some time to heal and to take it slow and steady. Seeing the scale go down for the week has given me hope that I can still do this.

Good morning all!

This week has been a busy week after work. Cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, & spare room along with the vacuuming in the house, scrubbing the shower the past two days for my brother to spend the night last night. But it was so worth it!

This past weekend, I went back to my hometown Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. It's only a 45 minute drive from my home. I went out with my girlfriends on Friday night for dinner & drinks. Went back on Saturday for a bonfire/drinks & dinner with my girlfriends & their families. Then on Sunday, went to my Mom's to pick some raspberries & spent time with her. Monday night was a night with my husband, we went for a walk. Then Tuesday night, we went to dinner with friends & then I cleaned the house. And Wednesday my brother came. What a week!

Here's my results from the busy week:
Starting weight 7/31/2014 - 219.6
Current Weight on 8/7/2014 - 219.6 -- Didn't change which is fine by me.

Goal Weight - at least 217.6 (setting the goal on the lower end of things.)

For August, my goal is to schedule my work outs in my weeks. I have gotten around to doing this this week, although some of it has been adjusted. I went out for a couple of walks with my husband & mom. I'm hoping to get to the gym tonight.

Not starting off too positive, numbers was up by a pound, not huge but I really need to start the process of triming down and getting to my goal weight for competition. It's a process and one way or another I'll find my way. Be good and have a great Tuesday.

I wanted to join on time, but got caught up in some other things during the week and weekend. I did weigh myself on August 1st, but not since then. I don't know what is wrong with me. I usually at least weigh myself daily.

Starting weight - August 1 - 332.8 pounds
Goal weigh - August 31 - 327.8 pounds

I know I can lose this much weight if I just put my eating on hold and only eat when I actually feel hungry.

Well I haven't weighed in August yet so I'll just put my final weight for July as my start weight

SW - 144.6
GW - 142.6

Only 2 pounds but going to see if I can manage that. Going on last months 0.2 pound weight loss a 2 pound loss would be amazing.

Had my first dress fitting and I'm pleased to say the dress fit PERFECTLY so I've definitely lost inches since I started losing weight again in January woo hooo. I've never been so happy to have a zip do up in my life.

I really need to work on toning up, does anyone fancy doing a fitness challenge or something for the month? I'm thinking along the lines of simply doing some of the spark strength videos (theres a few arm workouts and the core workouts we could choose from) a set number of days a week? Or we could make a strength plan with some of the spark moves (im a big fan of straight leg raises and dumbbell side bends ha) Anyway if anyones up for it let me know and we'll pick a few

Hi,
My starting weight today is 162.4
By September 1 it will be 160 or under emoticon .

My longer term goal is 145 by Thanksgiving, but if I get back with the program, I think I can make it.
My first goal is to cut out sugar -- my sweet tooth is already whining.

Join us to lose 2-5 pounds each month. We set smaller goals to reach our end goal weight.
