Well I disappeared for a few months but I am back!!!!! I always come back. I need to figure out how not to disappear anymore. My plan is to stay!! My health is depending on it!!

I've recently recommitted to getting back on track, after succumbing to a few distractions along the way. This challenge seems it would be a good way for me to head in the right direction again. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

I did hear last year on the Doctors TV show that it is normal for people to gain about 5 lbs in the fall / winter cause it's our body knowing that it needs to keep us warm for the next-4-6 months. I had always wondered about that cause it seemed to happen to me every late fall. And then they confirmed it for me.

Yes I do like the kickboxing one right now. I will mail out your check too this week. SORRY!!!!
Today I brought out Lauren brooks Kettlebell Vol 2 DVD and did the "grind", Smoker, AND "finisher"!!!! Struggled with the Turkish get ups, did 2 instead of 3. The overhead squats were rough too, better the second time around. OH and windmills. But I hope to do this one every Saturday and I should improve this next month.

Been on a CARB OVERLOAD the last 5 days NOT GOOD!!! Need to change that quickly. Tuesday was a chicken bacon melt for lunch, Turkey club for dinner, Wed night pizza, Thursday Big flat bread with chicken, pepperoni, and spaghetti sauce, Friday - homemade lasgana with garlic knots!!!!

Sorry to hear about your Durango, Turbo. I hate when things break or don't go right. I am a creature of habit and I don't like my routines disturbed.

I've gained a few ounces every day this week ... and I have been cold. Is it the change in the weather? Is it the fact that my exercise has been a little less vigorous than usual this week? Or is my thyroid function fading? I sure hope it's not my thyroid, because if it is my thyroid, I will gain weight until it gets bad enough for my doctor to increase my medication. That's happened to me before and I can't control the weight gain without decent thyroid function.

Turbo - Not good on the durango. Hope it gets fixed too.

Today I did Jillian's kickbox, all 3 levels for a good 60 min workout.

Had issues with the Durango again last night after it was fixed so kettlebell class was a few quick demos and calling a tow truck type of night. Hope they figure it out today and I have it for the weekend. I did get up and get a routine in though so that was good. This stress doesn't do a lot for my ability to sleep, hope it's fixed today and works correctly without issues. It doesn't go far when it won't go into gear...

Welcome EVERYONE.

Today I did Jillan's No More Trouble Zones AND backed up with Iron Core Kettlebells Bootcamp Using the brown 30 lb bell. except on the single leg deadlift / row combo I dropped to the blue 26 lb one. I do have to take a few extra stops during the sets, but I pick it back and try to do a few more. The first round on the tactical lunges it's been so long since I did this workout, I started to do forward lunges, and on the second set I realized it was a reverse lunge instead.

Day one done.

I took October off from the monthly goal since I was getting so discouraged. But, I'm back again and really hoping November will be better. This month is my birthday and Thanksgiving so I need to have a lot of willpower. I weigh on Mondays so I'll start with my past Monday weight.

I'll be here. November will be an important month for me. I am at the point right now that was my lowest weight back when I lost weight 6 years ago. After that "low point," my thyroid started to decline (and then I broke my ankle) ... and I ended up regain 33 of the 40 pounds I had lost. So for me, my current weight seems like a big wall. I can't imagine what life is like on the other side of that wall -- and part of me hesitates to believe that I can actually get past it.

So I need to lose weight in November to prove to myself that I can go further in my weight loss than I have ever made it before.

I'll be back in a couple of days to give my start weight and goal.
