Boy, I gotta say, it's very refreshing to see "Lose 2-5 pounds" , it's amazing how many threads have insanely large weight loss goals for the month!! Like "Lose 37 pounds this month!" LOL, ok, it's not THAT bad, but still.... My start weight is 155.5 Dec 4, my goal weight is 152.

I'm baaack! Just jk'ng! I used to do this challenge and stopped in September (because I was close to my goal and..well...stupid, lol). So after 2 months of being pretty horrible w/my intake (still a beast in the gym, yay) I'm scared to get on the scales, lol. So I'm joining the challenge, but I'm not weighing in until next Thursday. By then I will have been on a strict diet/exercise regimen for 2 weeks and (hoping) the scale will be a lil nice @ that time. I gotta say tho that starting over sucks..I know this as I've done it plenty of times. However, as long as I've been at this I'm STILL trying to find what works for me...maybe I never will Here's to hoping that one day I will reach my goal! Cheers everyone!

I had a decent start to December. I went over just a little on calories, but got in all my water and 5 servings of fruits/veggies. Didn't get any exercise, but it was a planned rest day. Got up early this am for boot camp class. Instructor almost had me cursing with the burpees and mountain climbers

Weightliftgirl - So for your Dr. appointment you need to lose 3 lbs. I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! I did pretty good ON thanksgiving day, but Sunday when I seemed to have an open kitchen and kept making food all afternoon for people that were coming and going from Noon till 6!!! I didn't track, so I really don't know. I did drink water (that's all I drink), had SMALL cups of chicken / turkey black bean soup, with crackers added, raw veggies with dip, ham, cheese, hard boiled egg stuffed french loaves (take out the inside of the bread and stuff with the mix) at least cut out a lot of the carbs with that. Ok, so here is the deal yesterday the scale was 154.6 and that was what I was going to use as my start weight this month. BUT now today it's down to 153.4 SO what number do you girls think I should use???? If I use the one from yesterday it would sure make me feel good that I am losing again but then again it will look better too. My cold is MUCH better today. My 5yo is getting worse again. He still wants to go to school. Sorry, not today! I did do Bob Harpers Inside out Method Body Rev Cardio conditioning. Sweat, Sweat and More sweat!!!! I am starting to think the ice pack on the back of the neck at night maybe helping in the weight loss. Maybe it's in my head, but I haven't been doing it lately and I gained, last night I pulled it out again and today I am down?!?!?! Ready to take on this new month. I need to have a plan for Christmas time. My hubby goes CRAZY baking treats. And most of christmas is spent all day eating it. I should be able to exercise each day which will help. If I don't host it, at least MAYBE it will help that I am not in the kitchen so much standing next to it as much. Sorry this got so long. Beckie

Hi Everyone! Another month....where does the time go? How did everyone make out for Thanksgiving? I ate like a pig, but I haven't done that in a long time. Weight was temporarily up 1.6, but came off. I didn't meet last month's goal of losing 2 (which was my goal). I only kept off 1 pound -- but I'll take it. I had a bad cold for a while and then my back went out so I had to baby that for a while. Anyway, good luck all. On the 22 nd is my doctor appointment. So far my blood pressure is a bit better (try not to get too wigged out at workload), I lost a total of 7 pounds (10 is goal - at least) and I'm TRYING to cut out the bad stuff. Joanne
