I am hoping to lose 5 pounds this month. I have three challenges to this: a birthday, a wedding anniversary and a week in a hotel (for the anniversary!). emoticon

April 3: 167.8 with the birthday dinner coming tonight
April 4: 167.8 Hurrah, no gain today

April 6: 167.4 Down 1 pound in a week, just what I'm aiming for so very pleased
April 7: 167.0
April 8: 166.4
April 16: 169.0 Scary but after a week in hotels and restaurants this is a typical gain for me.
April 17: 168.2 It looks like some of the gain was water but I still have a long way to go.
April 18: 168.0 4 pounds to go to the end of the month!!

Weighed in this morning for my end weight for March.

Since I lost the last 1.2 pounds due to a stomach bug, I'm expecting to not lose as much this week as my body readjusts. So I'm thinking 3.8 is reasonable for April. :)

I'll be back tomorrow with my official start weight, but I already know what my goal weight will be -- 153 pounds. When I hit 153 (and stay there for a bit), I can change my icon to read "50 pounds lost". That's a big milestone for me.

Come join us in setting small goals each month. These small goals add up quickly.

Post your start weight on April 1 (or on March 31 - if you want) and a goal weight for April 30.
then post as often as you like on how you are doing. We are here to motivate and encourage you to reach your goals, both short and long term.
