I'm so close to the pound I wanted to lose this past week. Hopefully, I can make it up in the weeks to come. Tonight I'm taking a master class with the cast of FELA, which is currently showing at the Shakespeare Theater. It's supposed to be an intense two hour session of non-stop dance. I'm hoping I survive. No doubt I'll burn more calories than usual, so hopefully that will jump start this week's weight loss.

Had a really busy weekend did our virtual Kettlebell meet Saturday and I did two lifts, this was after cleaning my house and getting laundry started. Got home and carried 15 40# bags of pellets downstairs to get that done. Sunday was a rest day but still managed 450 two handed swings. Today was plyo hiit 2 and I have kettlebell class after work, upper body. Scale was up a bit today will see what tomorrow brings.

Today was tapout Cardio XT and ultimate abs. OH MY. MAJOR sweat!! I could see that the weighted gloves on these would REALLY give you a burn.

I was really happy with my SW this morning. Last week I only lost 1/2 lb, but took the attitude that a loss is a loss, well I'm down 2 lbs this week so a total of 6.5 since I re-started my healthy lifestyle the 1st of Jan. I am going to set my Feb goal at 4.5 lbs to get to an even number and under 120, but I will be thrilled if I loose 3 lbs

I did one of my more difficult DVD's today -- the Fire Starter program of Turbo Fire. Overall, though, I had a very lazy day and didn't get any of the work done around the house that I intended to. My calories will be in my recommended range, but not great.

Missed my last two Saturday weigh-ins for January because I was out of town on two long weekend trips. Weighed in today and I'm the exact same weight I was three weeks ago. Sigh. Well, at least I didn't gain weight while traveling - but it is a little disappointing because I did work out on both trips.... So, on to February!

You can weigh in as often as you would like. Some people do daily, others weekly. Some have a set day of the week they are used to checking so they report that. All up to you.

Today I did Tapouts Legs and back 40 min, then shoveled the sidewalks, half the drive, and the deck for an hour. Need to clean the house later on today and tomorrow morning.

February 1st- 175...February 28th goal-171

Yesterday I burned a heck-uvalotta calories swimming for an hour! I also did three sets of 30 wall pull/push ups in the pool. And I stayed below my calorie goal. Yay me!

Got up this morning and weighted in whoops I'm going the wrong way gained a pound yesterday. I know that weight varies and times also so more water and exercise today.

today I plan on walking on the treadmill for an hr. I ate well yesterday and chose south beachy foods but did go over my calories, I actually logged it in and moved on. today I am focusing on choosing south beach foods and staying within my calorie range.

I am back from vacation and ready to start fresh in February. I was pleasantly surprised with my weight this morning as I seem not to have gained quite as much weight on vacation as I thought. But I did gain a little -- and ate too much today as a friend invited me out to dinner at the last minute. I had eaten a big lunch as was planning a light dinner -- but that went out the window when the dinner invitation came.

But on the positive side ... I DID exercise after dinner. I don't usually do that.

Ug. The second after I posted my last message, I walked into the kitchen here at work to find someone brought in donuts. Dozens and dozens of donuts. I've decided I'm not even going to look at them. I can't even give them the stink eye, I have to give them the complete cold shoulder. If anyone has any spare willpower lying around, I sure could use a little more.

I'm in! Feb 1 start weight is 179.5. I'd like to lose at least 4 pounds this month, so my goal will be 175.5. I'm on meds for a thyroid condition that are keeping from easily losing weight no matter how much I work out or how well I eat, so 4 seems like a doable number. Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone!

Well today after I sat at the third graders academic assembly, I came home, shoveled the sidewalks and deck. Then instead of Tapouts Yoga, I did the Power Yoga I recorded on PBS. For some reason that is SO much better. And today was LEGS some great stretches. and about 20-25 min long. I have it set up to record more next week.

I am sure I will be shoveling more later today as well. Keeps me warmer outside while the kids are playing in the snow.

GOAL 2/28= 154.0 Would love more, but I haven't seen this number in a long time.

Today was Tapout XT Plyo - Great 55 min leg burner!
TOmorrow is suppose to be yoga but I just can't seem to get into it. MAYBE I could try the old Power Yoga again on PBS. I haven't done that in years. But it was the only one I liked. OR i was thinking of doing Iron Core KEttlebells Warrior 1 in instead.

For those that are going or hosting super bowl parties - make sure to stay away from all the food!!! drink plenty of water to stay full. Helps to keep a bottle in your hand and you tend to keep sipping it.
