Ahhhhh! Losing my motivation! Missed last week's workouts on Thursday and Saturday and am feeling like I can't get back into the swing of things! I have a busy week coming up and I think maybe it is just overwhelming. Not sure how I will handle it, but am feeling apprehensive.

It would be a dream to lose 10 lbs by April 30. It just might happen though. I lost 3 lb last week. I'll find out how many I've lost this week

It's April 10 and we are a third of the way through this challenge!! I have lost about 7 pounds total so far, so have 3 to go for the month, but am hoping for more!!

I am feeling good today! Will be doing my cardioX workout today (in lieu of yogaX, which I detest) and then am going for a walk this evening with a neighbor. I have made several new and healthy recipes this week that tasted great! I wasn't sure that healthy food could taste that good. Been drinking lots of water, too. I think that 10 pounds will be no problem to lose this month if I keep up these good habits!

I took the weekend off from P90x, too much going on. Normally, we just make it work to do the workouts every day. We only took two days off, so that's not too bad, and we are going to get back to it today. Today is also day one for me on decaf coffee. I have decided to get rid of the caffeine first and then eliminate coffee altogether (not saying I will NEVER drink it, just not daily). I am also going to try to get in two workouts daily. By this, I mean I will do p90x every day, but will also try to do whatever cardio I am able to do at some point during the day, probably mornings. I am not going to try to be heroic with it, 15 minutes of cardio would make me happy to start out with. If I can do more, I will. I am making a sparkpeople recipe for supper tonight and am going to add more salads to my diet.

I hope your goal is realistic and you are not setting yourself up for disappointment. Remember that 1-2 lbs a week is optimal, but is considered the best end of losing weight. Good luck!

Still no change on the scale. I am not really doing well with eating better. Eating more for comfort lately, I think, but I am not sure why. Maybe just need Spring to really be here!! Anyway, good luck to you all. 10 pounds will be gone by the end of April and I just have to keep my eye on that goal.

I don't feel like working out today. Motivation is sluggish, weighed myself and had a gain, but I have no idea how. I have been working out and have been feeling better the past few weeks. Yesterday, my jeans were looser (slightly, but I could notice it). Finished my 4th week on p90x.

Soooo...
Here is my plan. I have not been eating as well as I should. That being said, I am going to prepare more healthy meals. I might just have to step out of my comfort zone and try new foods and new ways to cook them. My family will have to try new things too. Also, I am going to continue on with the p90x as I know it is making me feel better and when I look in the mirror, I think I look thinner and I feel more toned. I will try to add more morning workouts on the treadmill, even if for only 15 to 30 minutes. I know that 10 pounds in April is totally doable!

Ok, got it! I weighed in today at 204.6, so my goal will be to weigh 194.6 by April 30th, and that should definitely be doable. I'd like to be even less:)

Yes, this does start now. I started a few days ago. Not going to weigh in again until Sunday morning since I worked two night shifts this week and that sometimes messes things up for me. I am feeling way better, not so jiggly since I started working out!! YAY! I haven't posted every day, but will try to be better about that. I have been drinking lots of water and trying to curb my calories.

I am going to lose 10 pounds by the end of April and I am so excited about it! I can't wait to be 10 pounds lighter!! Are you with me??

My current weight: 217
By April 30: 207 (So close to the 100's!)
Plan: Continue P90x, keep drinking 8 cups of water daily, track my food.

It's not always possible to post daily, but I think we should try to do it if we are able so that we can monitor our progress and help each other!
