We have1 weight at home that is 6.6 pounds. But i only really use it when i am like doing it for arms. (Which i dont do enough) I like to do this zumba video i found on you tube. I also have 1 (yes ONE.) cardio workout DVD. I mostly do that (its 30 min.) but i get bored with it i found the zumba video i havn't done in a while and i am gonna do that and i also do videos form this one girl and she rocks I would love ideas too. oh ya and i don't run i DON'T LIKE RUNNING!!!
Well, first off, you don't have to worry about being too buff : unless you are an extreme athlete or take testosterone supplements, you won't get big muscles from exercise.
My favorite workout is swimming, but I don't have regular access to a pool, so after that, I like running. I run two miles every other day. (I walk half a mile before and after, as well.) On the off days, I go for long walks.
If for some reason I can't go outside, I do some basic aerobics inside, alternating between various moves, like jogging in place, jumping jacks, "air jump rope," burners, et cetera.
Another thing I really like to do is the blogilates videos on youtube.
I don't have any equipment at my house, so I have to get creative sometimes. I like to do the monthly workouts in each issue of Seventeen magazine and zumba for x-box. Sometimes I will look up videos on Youtube. Since you just want to tone I would try doing yoga and swimming. Both are fun and help tone without bulk.
I run around my house, and up and down the driveway. If you have a dog, try jogging or walking with it. Get LOTS of sleep at night, and listen to fast music while exercising to stay pumped up and energized. I don't have ANY equipment at home, so I stick to running. Try walking or jogging in water to keep your legs toned AND burn off calories. Try swimming. Go out to gym if you can, and explore all the different machines there. Go to a park with a friend and race them. Play basketball or baseball. Do Wii fit or just dance or zumba.
What do all of you do for exercise? I have an elliptical and a weight lifting machine in my house. I've used the weight lifting machine before but I don't wanna get too buff, I just want to tone. I use the elliptical quite often but I must say it tires me out pretty quickly. I've also been doing crunches, jumping jacks, lunges, and duck walking, and I try and walk at least a mile a day but I need some more fun exercising ideas. Anyone want to share what they do?
