Cocoa Almond Milk Latte
2 cups of cold water
1/2 cup of ground French Roast or expresso roast coffee
2 cups of Almond Milk
2 envelopes of instant hot cocoa mix
1/2 tsp of almond extract ice cubes

Use a drip coffee maker, add the water and coffee and brew. Stir in almond milk and add almond extract...stir well. refrigerate mixtue at least 1 hour or until completely chilled. Pour mixture over ice....makes 8 servings....46 calories....7 carbs and 1 protein only 1 gram of sat. fat.

I make a pot of coffee on Monday and place it in the fridge so the coffee is always cold.
You can add lots of flavor to are some of my favorites.

Mocha Iced Coffee

1 cup cold coffee
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon Hersheys syrup
1 packet Truvia sweetner

Vanilla Iced Coffee

1 cup cold coffee
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 packet Truvia sweetner

Caramel Iced Coffee

1 cup cold coffee
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon caramel syrup
1 packet Truvia sweetner

Marlene’s Mocha Freeze
Serves 1
Review By: LDHAWKE98 – A wonderful after dinner treat! I will make this often.

2 teaspoons instant coffee (regular or decaffeinated)
1/3 cup lukewarm water
¼ cup fat free half and half
3 Tablespoons Splenda (4 packets)
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
¾ cup crushed ice
¼ cup light, no-sugar-added ice cream (vanilla or chocolate)

Measure the coffee into a blender. Pour the water over coffee to dissolve.

Add the half and half, sweetener, cocoa powder, and half the ice. Blend to mix. Add the rest of the ice. Blend on high until thoroughly combined.

Drop in the ice cream and give a quick blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

Makes 1 serving

Per serving: 115 calories, 19g carb., 2g total fat (1g sat fat), 5g protein, 3g fiber, 5mg cholesterol, 90mg sodium. Food Exchanges: 1 Carbohydrate, Carbohydrates Choice: 1
