HI I'm new to the site and i'm hoping to gain some motivation. We moved about 9 months ago to a new state and I am now working from home. I am finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a healthy diet. I left all of my friends and family behind so my support system is slim. My husband can be supportive but he is narrow minded when it comes to weight loss- i.e.- he brought home 3 bags of halloween candy yesterday and put them in the candy dish knowing I'm home all day... His response- "well, just don't eat it" So I need to lose 25 lbs.. my diet and the food I am feeding my children is terrible- I did insanity for 8 weeks and felt great- went on vacation and never started back.. starting couch to 5k and haven't done it in about 4 weeks. So aside from the negative -i'm going to start with small changes-3 days a week at lunch- couch to 5k - i have the app on my phone.. If i complete this for one week I'm going to take Saturday afternoon and watch a chic flic by myself.. that's my small goal for this week. what's yours?

I have been having a lot of trouble staying motivated - I'm afraid that my weight is starting to creep up again! Because of my hectic schedule, I don't have many supportive friends. I only need to lose about 30-40 pounds, but my mood goes up and down and I have trouble staying committed right now. Things are really busy (just bought a new house, started online school 6 weeks ago on top of a full time job, career change, new dog in house, etc.) and finding time to work out is tough. I think that having a friend or two to chat with on here may give me a boost - accountability is something I'm missing. My husband is supportive of my efforts, but he's one of those people who can eat anything and everything without gaining a pound - and he tries to make sure I 'eat enough' lol. Anyway, if someone is on the same boat, feel free to drop me a line.
