I did send you a private message saying that I would love to be your partner...I know, I have trouble negotiating the site too, so I get it! Like I said, I need to lose about 40 pounds and it sounds like we are struggling with the same issues...the dreaded yo-yo dieting...ugh! Thanks for answering me! emoticon

And no, I didn't withdraw it, lol

Hi AdGirl, I saw you sent me a private message but now I can't find it. Did you withdraw it or something? Possibly I've just lost it because I find the Sparkpeople website really confusing - too many resources. Maybe someone can give me a hint ;). If you didn't withdraw it, it would be great to have you as an accountability partner.

I was so happy to check in this morning and see you guys! Let's say we all get together and do this!! Everybody with me? I thought maybe I would start by having one thing everyday, no matter how small that is our goal, and maybe sharing that if we feel comfortable? Mine is to practice for 5 minutes today some of the poses that I learned in my first yoga class last night. I hope you all have a wonderful day, and thank you all so much for responding to my post!! emoticon

I'm looking for motivational partner/s. I've been very reliably sabotaging my weight loss for the last 4 years. Been doing a lot of emotional work (see my blog) to figure out why and I have identified a lot of self-defeating patterns and habits and improved but still not there - primarily because as soon as I start doing well I fall off the wagon. Anyone with similar experience? How does motivational partnering work?

I definitely could use an accountability partner, especially because none of my friends or family support my decision to loose weight :/ its gonna be hard to stay on track

I love my jiggly bits. Don't you?

I am new and have come to the conclusion that I am not going to do so well if I do this alone. I think it would really help to have someone, or lots of someones, around to take this journey with me. I have 40 or so pounds to lose emoticon
