I use the spark app as well as the website. However, I understand how good old fashioned paper and pen can be beneficial. There are alot of books that have it all set for you, try amazon or ebay for inexpensive books. My daughter has a fitness tracker book that she uses for her workouts and keeps it right in the gym bag. I believe it is called food and fitness tracker and is a green spiral bound book. good luck
I just use a plain old regular spiral bound notebook. I use the top margin to log my blood sugars, and exercise for the day. Then I write the date on the first regular line, followed by "breakfast" and record the time of day, then write down what I ate and the calories and carbs in the right margin. Do the same for "lunch" and "dinner" and include spaces for "snacks" as well. At the end of the day I write the TOTALS along the bottom for my calories and carbs. Works great for me and they're cheap. :)

Hi Danyel, That peterpauper journal looks like it tracks everything you need but I didn't read anywhere that says how many days of logging it provides. I did notice on the intro page that it had 224 pages in the Daily and Weekly Food and Fitness Logs so I'd estimate that it may be 3 months or so.
Weightwatchers has a similar, spiral bound food log for about $7, and also tracks 3 months. I just didn't see anything on their website on whether or not a non-member could go and purchase one but for that amount of savings it might be worth investigating. :)

myfitnesspal is ok too. The only thing I don't see on SP is a mood evaluation. You can track calories if that's what you choose and exercise too. SP also will let you track other nutrients. I don't track food.

What's wrong with using Spark? They have all those things here and for free.
