Getting Married in JUNE! annnnd..... I am already stressed out. lol o.0

It's not easy. And I am tormented by a fear.

That I will go try on dresses and they wont have anything that fits me.

Dress shopping should be fun and almost effortless. But this ain't a scene for a movie... just like I ain't a size 7. lol

Time to start looking tho...

We're getting married THIS October (it's so great to say that!!!!) and I want to lose the last 15 pounds before then. I have the dress - bought it just before Christmas - and I want/need to work on toning up my back and arms. (Strapless gown, totally not what I was originally thinking!)

Our wedding night will be extra special for us, if you catch my drift, so I want to really wow my man. I know he loves me no matter what, but I want to be confident in my own skin.

I bought him a fitbit for Christmas, and so we're tracking each other's activity levels and what-not too. (We're long distance until who knows when.)

Our wedding is on for June 29, 2013! I'd like to lose around 15 lbs of emotional eating that I gained when my mother got sick.

Our date is set for 4-26-14, so I have some time to get it together! I just feel like I a fighting an uphill battle. I have thyroid issues and the number on the scale seems to be going in the wrong direction!

Greeting! Today is my 1st day on Sparks and last week I made a commitment to myself and my staff that I would begin practicing loving MYSELF as passionately As I show love for others! My wedding is planned for 6/14/14. I'm not familiar with the beachbody programs but am commmitted to getting fit for thebut more importantly for ME! Hi Jenna,
I'm getting married in march 2013. I bought my dress in June this year and when I bought it fit me perfectly, now that I am watching what I'm eating more closely and exercising regurlarly and even working out with a personal trainer, my dress does not zip up anymore!! I have a wide back since I used to be a swimer when I was a teen. This is the dress of my dreams and I am panicking that it does not fit when I'm apparently doing all the right things!!! Please help! what can I do to loose some weight and still keep enough energy to work out, keep up with work, wedding planning, school and all that jazz. Please help!!!!

Hi Jenna! I know this board is for bride-to-be's, but do you have any advice for us married gals? Lol. I am looking to lose between 50 to 60 lbs between now and my one year anniversary next year on 03/24/13. I have lost 90 lbs so far, but it has taken me 4 yrs to lose it and maintain it, but I still have at least another 90 to 100 lbs to go. It would be a wonderful anniversary gift to both myself and my husband if I was at least 60 lbs into my final goal. I am open to all advice! emoticon

I'm getting married in November of 2014, but I want to lose the weight before I need to pick out my dress.

I'm 19 and I weigh around 245, I'd really like to lose 115 pounds or so, but I would be ok with losing less.

My main problems with this:
I'm a picky eater (it's actually to the point of being considered an eating disorder)
I lack major motivation :(

Please, pleeease someone help me??

I'm getting married in 47 days (11/3/12) and I really want to get rid of the fat under my arm pits so it's not hanging over my dress. Gross. I would like to lose as much as I can but my dress fits. I would just like it to be not so snug. And with the stress and planning, I have a hard time getting to the gym.

Ok. I so need help. I have 4 and a half months until the wedding. I have a dress that is now to big. I have had so much stress come up over the past month. I am new here but I am getting married early next year and really need to lose some weight. I thought that the wedding alone would be enough motivation but it seems that I am rebelling against myself all the time. I used to be really fit, and do enjoy exercise when I force myself to start. I am also kind of in training for a half marathon (in 6 weeks time) and my motivation for this has also diminished. I need some help/advice/motivation fast and I need to stop burying my head in the sand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jenna I would love some help. I want to lose as close to 50 pounds as I can by My wedding which is April 13,2013. First of all I am clueless on diet. All I know if thew easy stuff that I grew up with. I am busy and can't bring myself to preplan everything for a week or what I would even plan. I also am looking into different ways to get a workout in without a lot of alone time from my daughter to do it. I would love any help I could get. Thanks!

I think that you need to try different things and know that it is all a process this should help you from getting overwhelmed.. Sokme workout are not for everybody so try different things to see if they intrest or motivate you and know that if you don't like it you can try something new without the pressure. I know it has made a big difference for me. Good luck!

My name is Andrea, and I'm getting married 10/2012. I've already lost 24 pounds, and have much further to go, but the loss is heartening. I'm tickled that my dress may need to be brought in! I understand weight loss requires a lifestyle change, and the loss I've done so far has been purely by diet changes.

I"m stressing out, as I'm moving to my fiancé's city in October as well.

Hi Jenna!

I could certainly use a little help! I am getting married in October emoticon I have lost the weight I want to lose. I am becoming more stressed out as the day gets closer with planning and working full time. Because of this, I am turning to food and slacking on my workouts! EEEEEK! I will have my custom made dress next week and hope it will fit! My weight at the beginning of this week was still only a couple of pounds over what I want, but after the food I ingested this week, who knows! I just know I have to stop eating like that. I do feel more motivated and less stressed today and ate really well yesterday and far!

I am a trained Wellness Coach, so I know all the methods that I SHOULD be using..but just cannot seem to inact them! Would you be interested in coaching me and helping me just cope with my stress without turning to my cravings?!!!

i am getting married next april i have no motivation. when i do i get to stressed out from the planning. i just lost a lot of inches while i was deployed now that i am home nothing i walk every night i try to eat healthy. i drink water all the time. it felt so good to lose weight. i have struggled with it every since i started having thyroid issues. what else is there that i can do please help and thank you

you might not be losing the weight but tape your self. you might just be losing the inches if you are working out that much and not losing the pounds

Please Help! I've been working out solidly 4 days/week since January and have not lost a single pound or inch. My wedding is July 12/2013 and I need some tips for diet/fitness. Currently I am doing 45 minutes of cardio (step master or elliptical) then i do weights focusing on one part of my body each time (legs, arms/back or abs) for 30 mins then stretch for 15. I eat relatively healthy and drink only water or tea!

Any info or tips??

If you havent tried yet strengrth training!! As i read...cardio is good but ST burn more cals even after you are done. That may help!

I would love a bit of advice. My Situation:

Getting married Nov 17th 2012
I go to the gym 3 times a week for spin class
play baseball once a week
walk everywhere!

Gluten free diet-
lots of fresh veggies and fruit daily
lots of lean proteins
minimal processed foods

Problem: I am seeing success with lifestyle and diet but my tummy fat is just not going away fast enough. I know cardio burns a lot of fat ( I already spin 3 times a week remember)
do you think adding in more cardio would get me better results IE should I start jogging on the days I am not spinning? Other suggestions?
I am gaining a lot of muscle especially in my legs and a bit in my core its just that I have muscles with a layer of fat over them on my belly.

Hi name is Gina and I could sure use some encouragement (well from ANY of you who have posted here.) and I would be more than happy to help out & encourage anyone in this forum too.

We do not have a "set in stone" wedding date yet, but I did go dress shopping last weekend with my childhood friend who flew into town to see me for a few days. WOW, what a shocker that she (who has always been the heavier of the two of us) looked great in the 3 dresses she tried on.....and ME, I looked so fat & awful. Not a great self-esteem boost at all!

I recently moved and most of my closest friends live out-of-state, so basically I have no one close by to work out with or to get help & encouragement from. So any "fitness buddies" I can make would be great!
