It's so wonderful what one can experience if we just get out of the door. Glad you encountered these wonderful moments, hope they'll be a reminder for you to do this more often! (And maybe for others, too)
A few days ago I decided I would recommit for May Day, and gave myself 3 daily musts, drinking my water, getting my fiber, and walking 2 miles. I finally managed to get out the door after 7 pm with my headphones in. I was into the music, so I took a detour. My walk was 3.5 miles instead of 2, and I saw 4 deer come about 10 yards from me! And I would've missed it had I stayed in, or even if I'd taken the shorter walk.
