With your extensive history of hip issues, you may want to see if your doctor can make a referral to a physical therapist for an assessment and possible fitness program that will not do further damage. Doing exercises that may seem benign could be creating issues up and down your kinetic chain which could lead to other issues.

I have had 7 hip surgeries on the right hip since I was 20 yrs. old. I have limited mobility and can not lift over 10 lbs. I need some advice on exercises that I can do and not injure the hip further.
