Hi, TEFFIELYNNE !! As the old cliche goes,"don't throw the baby out with the dirty bath water".
In short, just because you had a couple of less than stellar days does it mean you totally derailed your efforts at a healthy lifestyle. You didn't do anything wrong !! The fact is, if you were to eat right 5 out of 7 days this week, you'd still be doing better than the average American. Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a lifetime. That's not going to happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Change takes time. Thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.
So, give yourself credit for all the positive things you've been doing for your health !! Don't beat on yourself when you have a less than perfect day. Remember, no one is perfect. you don't have to be perfect to be healthy.
Start with small changes. take small steps. don't try to do everything at once or you will end up frustrated. As the coaches all say,"trust the process".
