Hi and welcome!! This is a great place for support, inspiration, and guidance. If you have pain issues, perhaps you can do chair marching. There is a group here for people with pain issues and I'm sure they'll have a lot of great ideas. Good luck to you!

Hello Giramundo! Welcome to SparkPeople! You do have to be patient, but it can be worth the wait. Over the 3 years I've been a SparkPeople member I've gone from pushing myself to exercise to going on an 87 day streak and loving every minute of it. I can totally relate to the chronic pain, I have RA (rheumatoid arthritis,) but I honestly feel a million times better when I exercise compared to when I don't. Even mornings when I have pain, I try and get up and go because I know it will feel better. Best of luck on your journey and I hope you love SparkPeople as much as I do! emoticon

thanks for the warm welcome! I hope this time I'll be more consistent and smart in taking each day at a time and patient when considering the results achieved.
I'm living in this country for the second time but have a daughter and a grandson born here. This info will help you to forgive my mistakes and my way of expressing my feelings and ideas. I hope we'll get better in knowing and supporting each other as time goes by.
I have some pain issues due to arthritis, fibermialgia (spelling?) and neuropathy. Fortunately, my heart after the heart attack and 2 stems, is pretty good now. I'm saying this because took me a good two years to realize that depression is constantly present during the period of pain. I got an email today where the writer tells about his wife dealing with pain and I want to sympathize with them and whoever else has to deal with chronic pain. For me the relief comes from taking some supplements doctors usually don't prescribe and specially taking some time to meditate and to be aware of all the beauty we see everyday around us and also thanking the Universe for all the blessings received. I hope this message, even though personal, will be understood as me sharing some difficulties hoping they can help others togo on being a winner each day in spite of how it comes to present itself. Love to all.
