First off- Hi! I'm a 32-year-old chick- I work full-time, am happily married and have a son who is a little over 1-year-old. Secondly- my weight loss journey, to sum it up, is that I wanted to lose weight before I became pregnant but didn't- I got pregnant at 184 lbs and the day I delivered my son (Jan. 1, 2012) I was 224 lbs. I joined weightwatchers in March 2012 and lost 40 lbs. Then, since September, I've gained and lost the same 10 lbs and am here today at 183 lbs. Growing frustrated with my loss of motivation on WW (and finding the points system doesn't work so well when I have less points- I feel deprived and end up bingeing, etc) I'm back at Sparkpeople. I was here a few years back (hence my user name, slim4life09) and went from 194 (my highest non-pregnancy weight ever) to 170.
My goal- 150 lbs. I want to make it less but think it's just impossible. So right now, my eyes are set on 150. I'm very open to connecting with other new moms and supporting eachother. I feel weird not being on WW anymore but hoping I find the same routine here and that this kicks my butt in gear!
