I can't speak much to last week, but after 40 years of exercising 5-7 days a week I have learned much. Following are a few of them.
Exercise early in the morning. Get up, get it done, get it over with and get on with the rest of the day After four years on SP, I learned that I am reminded to drink enough water all day if I check in early in the day. Learned from SP that some others have incredible obstacles, insecurities, bad habits and more to overcome to lose weight, and they are doing it!!!! Have discovered on SP how hard some people work 6 AM - 10 PM every day and still get into good physical condition! Have been inspired by those folks Track my exercise (did that for 30 years) Track my food intake (started that in 1982) do better with tracking than without, and it is easier with a computer to do the calculations for me! I do best if I am accountable and have others with whom to share exercise. Don't do so well solo. Each one has to find their own way to victory.

I'm on day 3 of week 1 and I've learned to log everything into the nutrition tracker. I really can't just mindlessly eat. I go overboard. And I've learned that I do better if I get exercise out of the way first thing in the morning.

I learned a lot about my approach to eating and exercise in week 1. New behaviors: I have set an exercise reminder on my phone. I exercise 10 minutes day. I log on to Spark people people every morning.
